Mis Triadas (Casi un blog musical) XI

Revisando los post publicados, me di cuenta que algo faltaba. ¡Faltan “mis chicas”!!!!! Así para no recibir queja alguna….”echare” una tanda seguida de aquellas cantantes que me gustan. Para empezar, tengo que hacerlo con la más grande. Tina Turner.

Tina, de nombre Anne Mae Bullock, nació en el estado de Tennessee (EE.UU.) en noviembre de 1939. Es una cantante, compositora, bailarina (eso dicen los libros, pero le perdono su manera de bailar) y actriz estadounidense. Lleva más de 50 años en los escenarios. Esta considerada como la "Reina del Rock", y no es de extrañar, no solo por su voz, sus actuaciones en directo presentan una fuerza poco habitual.

Empezó cantando con su marido, el dúo Ike and Tina Turner Revue. Del que se separo (malos tratos), e inició su carrera en solitario en los 70. A actuado en varias películas siendo las más famosas Tommy (opera Rock de The Who de 1975) donde interpretó a la “Reina ácida”, y en la de Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (Más allá de la cúpula del trueno, 1986) 3º película de la saga de Mad Max. Tina interpreta en dicha película a la Tía Ama, fundadora de la ciudad Negociudad.

Como ya comenté, a “pesar” de sus dotes de bailarina, Tina “posee” (podríamos decirlo aun hoy en día) una de las mejores piernas que han pasado por cualquier escenario. No es un comentario machista, lo dicen todos los críticos….. y simplemente es una realidad constatable, en la que Tina se ha “empeñado mostrar” en todas sus actuaciones……… (Pero insisto….para mi, baila como un pato con zancos!!!!!!!..¿Serán los tacones?, pero se lo perdono).

Como primera canción os presento We Don't Need Another Hero del disco Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1986), banda sonora de la película del mismo nombre. El video nos presenta a una Tina exuberante con un lock “posmoderno” ochentero.

La segunda canción, Missing You de su disco Wildest Dreams (1996). Es una versión de la canción del cantante y compositor británico John Waite de su disco No Brakes (1984).

Para terminar os dejo una de las más conocidas, The Best de su disco Foreign Affair (1989), que también es una versión. La original es de la cantante británica Bonnie Tyler de su disco Hide Your Heart (1988). El video de la canción es de 2009 de la gira mundial 50th Anniversary Tour, y en el se puede apreciar porque la llaman la “Reina del Rock”, ya que a sus 70 años……………. Es simplemente la mejor (The best, en inglés).
